 MaNDrakE was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. At a young age he was listening to music; as a kid in nursery school, he was already starting to collect music. His love of music grew from there especially towards the end of his primary school career; that's when he was about 10 years old and he got in to heavy metal music. A the age about 13-14 yrs, he discovered electronic music, and the underground rave scene. This was the discovery of his love for electronic music. All this while he'd been itching to make music, especially electronic music. Once he discovered some awesome software a friend of his had been using, added to this wicked sound samples he had to play with, the development of his own music began. That is when his passion ignited, and hours were poured into making his music. The full expression of his creativity was unleashed, and it all flowed out freely.
